Reviews of Henry Kendall Cottage The Historical Museum

The cottage was being painted today but the lady on the admissions counter invited me to have a saunter through the museum free of charge. I'd only been looking for about 5 minutes when an officious man turned up and virtually implied that I was trying to avoid paying the entrance fee. He claimed to understand my account of how I came to be there (backed up by the admissions lady) but seemed unwilling to accept it. The consequence was that I left and will not return. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing how good the collection is, but I am very definite about the appalling customer service of the officious prat !
